Mark your calendarsthe highly anticipated Jewellery & Gem ASIA Hong Kong (JGA) is returning from 19 to 22 June at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), bringing together approximately 1,200 exhibitors who will showcase their latest collections and innovations.

JGA will unite leading suppliers from close to 30 countries and regions across an impressive array of 30-plus themed and group pavilions, according to show organiser, Informa Markets Jewellery. The fair encompasses virtually all core product categories, including loose diamonds, coloured gemstones, and pearls; fine jewellery; jewellery mountings; antique and vintage finds; as well as packaging, equipment, tools, and industry-related technologies.

Attendees can also look forward to three show highlights designed to enhance the buyer experience: the immersive Orient Odyssey 2.0 Pearl Exhibit, a dedicated Gold Jewellery Pavilion, and the announcement of the finalists for the Sustainability Awards 2025 by JWA (Jewellery World Awards).

From the press preview of what lies ahead, it would be hard to miss certain design inspirations.

Flowers & Monarchs

Who can resist the allure of flowers and butterflies? These timeless favourites are given a contemporary update in the showcased collections, including rings in floral motifs adorned with diamonds and deep pink sapphires. The butterfly pieces are equally enchanting—brooches with wings pavé-set with rainbow sapphires in a gradient of colours, as well as another featuring wings crafted from carved jade with a freshwater pearl body.

Sugar & Spice

See jewellery that look like candy? It’s intentional—whimsy meets sophistication in this delightful collection of confectionery-inspired designs. Check out the Rainbow Macaron rings or the Strawberry Doughnut bangles, crafted in 18-karat gold.

Pearl Perfection

Pearls continue to assert their timeless allure in a modern context. Visitors will be able to explore a rich assortment of loose pearls and finished jewellery collections that show off the splendour of Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian, and freshwater pearls, and ocean-born gems such as conch and Melo pearls, among others.

Nature’s Masterpieces

A selection of jewels, defined by extraordinary stones that command attention, will grab your eye. It will be easy to spot unheated Burmese “pigeon-blood” rubies, “royal blue” Sri Lankan sapphires, and breathtaking emeralds. Also, don’t miss crowd favourites such as Paraíba tourmalines, aquamarines, opals, and tsavorites, to name a few.

Eternal Hearts

The heart motif will be hard to miss as a timeless symbol of love, inspiring countless interpretations in jewellery design. You’ll find many heart pendant necklaces and diamond-cluster-set rings with precisely placed baguette and round diamonds forming heart silhouettes. Each piece celebrates this quintessential romantic emblem, transforming precious stones and metals into expressions of affection that transcend time.

Celine Lau, director of jewellery fairs at Informa Markets Jewellery, shares that “the variety of jewellery resources, product launches and networking opportunities at JGA reaffirms its status as Asia’s foremost mid-year B2B marketplace for trade buyers, and to truly grasp the energy, creativity and spirit of discovery that define JGA, attending the show is essential.”
