Something new, sophisticated, and effortlessly chic has made its bold debut in the heart of the Lion City, and its raison d’être is, quite simply, to promote the art of living well.
Mett Singapore has opened its doors after much anticipation, revealing a modern and refreshing urban sanctuary set in the bones of a grand colonial-era building. With the unveiling of Mett Singapore, the Dubai-based Sunset Hospitality Group has successfully introduced its brand to Asia-Pacific, growing a portfolio that already includes hotels in Marbella, Bodrum, and Barcelona. It’s one step closer to future properties in the region, though no specific, Asia-focused details surrounding Mett’s active expansion plans have been released thus far. Still, for a hotel group that’s been around for all of five years tops, the rapid movement is impressive.

Equally impressive is the new product in Singapore, situated on the grounds of Fort Canning Park, in a stately landmark that once housed another hotel. With the baton now passed to Mett Singapore, the brand is embracing the city’s colonial heritage while filtering it through dimensions of lush nature, heightened respect for well-being and longevity, and social energy.

Designer Jeffrey Wilkes played an indispensable role in shaping the spatial experience, reimagining the cultural landmark into something more akin to a country club in the woodlands. 84 rooms and suites weave together historical charm and modern comforts, simple and refined but never austere. Mett Singapore’s unique perch—in lush gardens in city centre—offers an enviable vantage points for guests to experience the city from a new perspective.

Health and wellness are key pillars of Mett Singapore’s identity, and the promise of rejuvenation awaits in the expansive fitness centre, where state-of-the-art strength and cardio machines stand at the ready. Mett Singapore’s two outdoor pools beckon for leisurely afternoons under the Singapore sun, while padel and pickleball courts call to those who crave activity. Instructors lead classes on Reformer Pilates, Barrecore, HIIT, TRX, and aerial yoga. Post-workout, find balance and recover through the sauna, steam rooms, and cold plunge pools.

For that next-level well-being perk that sets Mett Singapore apart from the rest, look to Madison House, a new private members’ club that puts community and connection first. Probably the most exciting feature of the upcoming Madison House is the Longevity Suite, a pioneering wellness haven that integrates cutting-edge biohacking technologies with holistic practices. From cryotherapy to science-driven spa and aesthetic treatments, experiences are designed and delivered by specialists with vitality and longevity goals in mind.

Dining can make or break any destination, but Mett Singapore is in good hands—those of Daniele Sperindio. Living well, in the lexicon of Mett, means bringing people together and fostering connection. Four gastronomic concepts, to be opened gradually as the hotel settles into its new home, are designed to do just that. L’Amo Bistrò del Mare is an homage to Italian coastal cuisine, sun-drenched in atmosphere and comforting in flavour. Canning Bar & Lounge is the social hub of Mett Singapore, inviting togetherness over coffees and cocktails. Soon to come are Hanu, a tempting take on the traditional Korean grill, and Art di Daniele Sperindio.
