Stelliers—a portmanteau of “stellar” and “hotelier”—was established in 2014 with the goal of recognising and celebrating industry professionals who shape and influence the hotel and hospitality experience. It has since grown to become the leading hotelier awards platform in Asia and Greater China, with annual regional awards ceremonies.
What sets Stelliers apart is that all awardees win through their own merit. Aside from making a compelling application, hopefuls must undergo a rigorous vetting process, individual interviews, and evaluation by Stelliers’ esteemed panel of judges, comprising seasoned professionals from Greater China’s hospitality and business sectors: Rainer Burkle, formerly of Marriott International, Greater China; Sarah Chen, formerly of Diaoyutai MGM Hospitality Group; William Mackey, formerly of Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Asia-Pacific; Kevin Tan of American Express Global Business Travel; and May Wong of DONG Luxury Travel Collection and DONG Connection Event.

“Greater China has always been at the forefront of redefining luxury and innovation in hospitality. This year’s record-breaking number of applications reflects the region’s extraordinary depth of talent and commitment to excellence,” says Stelliers co-founder Stephane de Montgros. “We are proud to celebrate the individuals whose passion and vision are setting new benchmarks for guest experiences across Greater China.”
Stelliers Greater China 2025 Awards Ceremony will take place at the Grand Lisboa Palace in Macau on 12 December 2025, where the winners of this year’s 24 award categories will be announced and feted at a live event. Stay tuned for the results.
